A Smart Wellness Service Platform and Its Practical Implementation

Advances in the field of medical sciences and medical technology, and present-day challenges, such as an aging population, rising medical expenses, and lifestyle-related diseases, have collectively catalyzed a research ecosystem termed “smart wellness.” This article describes the establishment of a smart wellness service platform designed to empower individuals to create a sense of balance in their lives. Step-by-step details include service model, design, and architectural considerations. As a proof of concept, implementation details of a Health Improvement and Management Systems (HIMS) Hub, a Smart Wellness Service Platform deployed in six cities in South Korea, are presented. An on-site survey conducted in Busan Metropolitan City reveals the percentage of satisfied users to be 91.3%. Furthermore, data gathered from 27,236 physical evaluations of users from a Busan city center over the period of April 2013 to May 2018 reveal that males and females in their 50s and 60s account for the highest number of participants, while males in their 70s have a higher rate of participation than females in the same age group.     

Deep-piRNA: Bi-Layered Prediction Model for PIWI-Interacting RNA Using Discriminative Features

Piwi-interacting Ribonucleic acids (piRNAs) molecule is a well-known subclass of small non-coding RNA molecules that are mainly responsible for maintaining genome integrity, regulating gene expression, and germline stem cell maintenance by suppressing transposon elements. The piRNAs molecule can be used for the diagnosis of multiple tumor types and drug development. Due to the vital roles of the piRNA in computational biology, the identification of piRNAs has become an important area of research in computational biology. This paper proposes a two-layer predictor to improve the prediction of piRNAs and their function using deep learning methods. The proposed model applies various feature extraction methods to consider both structure information and physicochemical properties of the biological sequences during the feature extraction process. The outcome of the proposed model is extensively evaluated using the k-fold cross-validation method. The evaluation result shows that the proposed predictor performed better than the existing models with accuracy improvement of 7.59% and 2.81% at layer I and layer II respectively. It is anticipated that the proposed model could be a beneficial tool for cancer diagnosis and precision medicine.

同步定位与建图技术(SLAM)一直是移动机器人领域比较热门的研究方向,它可以给机器人提供强大的环境感知能力;传统的依靠外部位置参考来定位的方法如果无法获得时,移动机器人需要即时定位自身位置来构建增量式地图,因此SLAM技术也就应运而生;对激光SLAM和视觉SLAM的研究现状及最新标志性成果进行了介绍,重点对以相机与激光雷达融合、相机与IMU融合、激光雷达与IMU融合为代表的多传感器融合SLAM技术展开讨论、系统地梳理了几种融合方式的优势与不足,同时介绍了该领域的研究热点语义SLAM,最后讨论了SLAM技术在该领域未来的发展方向以及存在的挑战。     

一种基于语义关联的查询优化方法

提出了一种综合词法关系和语义分析的查询优化方法。通过对查询关键字词法特性和本体实例之间语义关联强弱的分析,提高了查询关键字到本体概念映射的完整性和准确率,帮助搜索引擎对用户的意图做出有效推测,解决了传统搜索引擎不能很好理解用户意图的问题。设计实现了相应的查询优化系统,实验表明该系统可以有效提高搜索的准确率。     

基于齿面寿命的齿轮参数优化设计

阐述了以齿轮齿面寿命为目标的齿轮传动几何参数优化设计方法 ,该优化设计考虑了负荷大小、接触点几何形状、滑动速度、油膜厚度等因素的影响。以齿轮减速器为例说明了数学模型的建立方法 ,并通过实例进行了印证 ,结果表明该优化设计方法能为提高齿面寿命提供有价值的齿轮参数组合

介绍了数据库析近发展起来的数据挖掘（MD）和数据库发掘（KDD）技术，阐述了DM和KDD之间的区别和联系，综述了DM技术的常用方法，剖析了在处理DM问题时应注意的问题，并指出DM技术的优势和希望所在，最后对这两门交叉学科的发展提出了建议。     

江汉盆地洪湖乌林浅埋型地热田综合评价

江汉盆地南东边缘洪湖乌林地段长江一级阶地第四系松散土层下,发现了浅埋的地下热水。采用直流电测深和联合电剖面对出热点进行区域勘测,在圈出电阻率变化异常的基础上,进一步利用手压井揭露,发现地下存在一个热水体,最高水温可达59℃。从52个手压井探测温度自动圈定的24 m深等水温线图看,水温大于30℃的热水区面积可达0.7 km2,并可反映出三个温度中心。水质检验显示,热水体具有医疗保健功效,与周边冷水体有截然不同的水化学场。多种异常的叠加出现,推测乌林地区地下有一个以水热形式存在的能源热田,至少从三个泉眼不断地向上部冷水介质释放热能。
